This family session was extra fun for me because I’ve been best friends with Korey since we were basically toddlers. Our moms were friends in high school which means we were basically raised as sisters. When Korey texted me about doing their family photos, her only request was the date we did them, which meant I got to choose the location. The UT Gardens are one of my favorite spots to shoot in Knoxville because of the beautiful blooms. I also love this spot because it’s a 5 minute drive from Volunteer Landing, which is where we ended our session together. The combination of floral backgrounds and shots in front of the beautiful Tennessee River make for a final gallery full of variety. I love it!
Another fun aspect of the shoot was little miss Erin (who I have lived all my #girlmom dreams through since she was born). She’s a tiny diva and loves having her pictures taken. You’ll see in the photos she is full of life and joy – you can’t help but smile just being around her. She also doesn’t know a stranger and will randomly walk up to people just to say hello (and possibly give them a hug). She is just the sweetest! Enjoy this UT Gardens and Volunteer Landing family session!
