We’ve been teasing and sharing online about our new natural light Knoxville photography studio, and I’m excited to share that it’s finally open for sessions! The KFP Studio is conveniently located between Parkside Drive and Kingston Pike near The Chop House. We’ve already gotten to serve a few clients in the space and it’s been as dreamy as I imagined! We intentionally chose a location that faces (mostly) westward so in the afternoon and evening, the natural light pours into the space.
Today, I want to share with you our brand new KFP client experience. We sat down and thought through every pain point our clients face as they prepare to update their family photos. From choosing outfits for the family, to getting ready the day of the session, we’ve added aspects to our client experience that alleviate the dreaded aspects of family photos and make the process enjoyable, dare I say, relaxing! We want our mamas to feel pampered and really well cared for. So, let’s dig in!
Knoxville Photography Experience – Client Wardrobe
Hands down, the biggest pain point when it comes to family photos is figuring out what everyone will wear. (And all the mamas said amen). Our client wardrobe is basically a giant closet of boutique clothing (brands like Baltic Born, Noralee and J.Crew) for mom, dad and kiddos (up to age 10). The best part is that all of the pieces in the wardrobe are light, neutral colored and coordinate well together. You’ll find something for everyone in the family which means no spending hours at the mall, buying clothes your kids might not wear again or making returns. Use of the wardrobe is included in your creative fee.
Knoxville Photography Experience – In Studio Hair + Makeup
We have partnered with the most amazing hair and makeup artist, Rachel! She gets to pamper our moms and provide beautiful hair and makeup the day of their session. Having professional hair and makeup makes a huge difference in photos and Rachel knows exactly how to apply everything so that you love your final images! This service is available to add onto any session. With the wardrobe and in-studio hair/makeup, you could literally walk into the studio in sweats and a messy bun, and we’ll have everything prepared to get you photo-ready. We know that mamas work tirelessly for their families and we want them to feel spoiled and really well cared for during their time with us.
Knoxville Photography Studio – Design + Ordering Guidance
2-3 weeks after your session, your images will be ready for you to view! You can choose between receiving an online gallery or viewing your photos for the first time at the studio in printed form. This option is great if you know you want to order printed products of your images.
