Oh how I adore taking family photos in the fall, and Melton Hill park was showing off during this family session! The Wilson family was referred to me by a dear past client and I’m so thankful because they were a delight to meet and photograph!

Melton Hill is a favorite spot for many Knoxville photographers, and for good reason. It’s basically a peninsula, mostly surrounded by the Melton Hill lake. Family’s that choose to have sessions here get a ton of variety in their final galleries because of the many beautiful backdrops in the park. During the fall months, I always try to find the quintessential fall colors to photograph in front of first. Usually this means meandering into the large field on the property. Then we end our time on the water, as the sun is setting behind the large rocky hill across the lake. It is absolutely stunning!
