Early evening at Melton Hill Park offered a calm, open backdrop for the Anthony family’s session. With wide green spaces, soft light filtering through the trees, and plenty of room to move, it was the kind of setting that naturally supports a relaxed, unhurried experience—especially for families with little ones.
Reese, at seven months old, is right in that stage where personality is starting to shine through in the sweetest ways. Sitting up, taking everything in, and quick to shift between curiosity and smiles; he brought a gentle, playful energy to the session. Mom and Dad stayed close, moving at his pace, which allowed the session to unfold naturally without any pressure or rigid structure.
This season of life often feels full in every sense—days shaped around naps and feedings, schedules that shift week to week, and a constant awareness of how quickly things are changing. It’s a stage that doesn’t always feel slow while you’re in it, which is why creating space to step away from the routine, even briefly, can feel especially meaningful.
The session itself reflected a thoughtful, guided approach—simple direction when needed, balanced with plenty of room for interaction to happen organically. Nothing felt forced or overly posed, allowing the focus to remain on connection and the small, in-between moments that tend to matter most.
The result is a set of images that feel clean, natural, and true to this stage for their family. Scroll through to see some of the highlights from their time together.
