I am beyond excited to share a recent maternity session that holds a special place in my heart. This session was a celebration of the anticipation of not one, but two precious babies! Let’s dive into the magic of Korey and Josh’s maternity session on the lake at Concord Park.
Korey is my childhood best friend. She and her husband Josh are embarking on a new chapter of their lives, and spoiler alert, it involves not one, but two little ones! Yep, you heard that right—twins! The excitement is palpable, and I couldn’t be happier for these sweet friends. These sweet babies will have the best big sister – Erin, who posed like a pro throughout the entire session. Seriously, this girl is a natural in front of the camera, and her energy adds a whole new level of joy to any session we do together. Korey’s dress is one of my favorites from our client wardrobe. She coordinated everyone else’s outfits perfectly around it!
The location for this maternity session is my absolute favorite spot in Knoxville. The Cove is the dreamiest backdrop for capturing portrait sessions. It’s on the water and the sun sets off to the side of the lake. I could photograph here every day and never get tired of it. Bonus – theres a super fun playground that makes for a great treat for littles at the end of a session.
I love the candids we were able to capture – the laughter, ballerina twirls, and shared glances. You can just feel the joy and anticipation of the arrival of these babies. I believe that the best images are born from genuine moments, and this session was filled with them.
