Early June at UT Gardens is one of the sweetest times of year for a family session. The gardens are full of lush greenery, colorful blooms, and winding paths that create a beautiful backdrop without ever taking attention away from the people in front of the camera. It was the perfect setting for the Reppuhn family as they celebrated an exciting season of change.
The Reppuhn’s arrived with plenty to celebrate. Mom being twenty weeks pregnant with their newest little one, this session was about more than updating family photos—it was about documenting the chapter right before everything changes. Jackson, age six, and Cooper, who is almost four, brought the kind of energy that makes family sessions so much fun. Whether they were exploring the gardens, laughing together, or proudly standing close to Mom and Dad, their personalities naturally shaped the flow of the evening.
For many growing families, this stage of life feels especially full. There are school schedules, growing toddlers, doctor’s appointments, and the anticipation of welcoming another baby, all happening at once. It’s a season that often moves quickly, making it meaningful to pause for an hour and simply enjoy being together.

Instead of expecting perfectly posed smiles the entire time; I gently guided the family through prompts and interactions that encouraged genuine connection. The result was a gallery filled with natural expressions, playful moments, and the excitement that comes with preparing to become a family of five.
